Each month, the CO-PTAC hosts a rotating panel of government agency representatives and prime contractors. This is a great opportunity to hear from different agencies and primes on how to engage with them. The speakers are different each month so the content is always current and engaging. This is a morning session beginning sharply at 8:30.

SBA - HUBZone Certification ( Colorado Springs)

HUBZones are "Historically Underutilized Business Zones". HUBZone participation has many benefits if you are doing work with the Federal Government, or want to do work with the Federal Government. There are preferential treatment programs available to qualifying companies that can benefit HUBZone companies. In this class, we will discuss the benefits, requirements, and applications of the HUBZone program. We will also discussion the process to enroll your company, if eligible. The HUBZone program is an effective tool, especially for companies in rural, less populated areas - or those which significantly re-shaped industrial bases (e.g., CF&I Steel - Pueblo). Join us as the SBA presents a detailed overview of the program.
