PMOs are driving organizational success, and let’s talk about it at the PMI Global Summit in Phoenix! As PMI’s Head of PMO Excellence, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most innovative PMO leaders around the world.
And one thing is clear: today’s PMOs are no longer just about managing or controlling projects. They’re enabling strategy, leading transformation, and delivering measurable value and impact across the business.
That’s why I’m genuinely excited about the conversations waiting for us at this year’s PMI Global Summit, taking place 12–15 November in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is where PMO leaders and practitioners gather to share ideas, exchange experiences, and explore what’s next for project delivery at scale.
We’ll be talking about the real strategies modern PMOs are using to:
🔷 Align with business goals
🔷 Drive innovation and agility
🔷 Deliver value with purpose and precisionIf you’re leading or building a PMO, this is the moment to connect with peers, learn from proven practices, and leave with ideas you can put into action to shape the future of your organization.

November 13, 2025
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is hosting an Acquisition Executive (AE) Small Business (SB) Forum on 11/13/2025 from 9:00:00 AM-11:00:00 AM Eastern Time. Government participants will be the USSOCOM Acquisition Executive, Director of Procurement, and Director of the Office of Small Business Programs. This session will be hosted both in person and virtually. In person attendance is limited to 100 individuals. Connection details will be provided upon selection to attend.
Intent of these meetings: AE SB Forums are intended to for USSOCOM to assess the state of its SB program and to allow small businesses to discuss barriers to doing business with USSOCOM, provide input as to what USSOCOM is doing well, and provide suggestions for ways to make doing business with USSOCOM easier. These roundtables are not meant to be an opportunity for firms to present their capabilities to USSOCOM, or to receive a forecast of upcoming requirements
USSOCOM would like to have participation from all socio-economic categories and a variety of industries. In person attendance is limited to 100 individuals; virtual attendance is limited to 150 individuals. In an effort to maximize the number of firms able to participate, participation will be restricted to one in person registration and one virtual registration per small business if all slots are filled.
Expected of attendees:
We are actively soliciting your comments/feedback. Please be willing and prepared to engage/discuss.
When discussing barriers or ways to do business easier, please provide examples of issues and possible solutions.
TO REQUEST AN INVITATION:
If interested in participating, please fill out all of the information at the following link:
https://www.socom.mil/SOF-ATL/Pages/SOCOM-AE-Small-Business-Forum-Invitation-Request.aspx
On the form you will be able to indicate which methods of attendance you are willing to participate (Virtual only, in person only, Prefer Virtual but Either, or Prefer in Person but Either).
Even if you requested an invitation to a previous roundtable but were not selected to attend, you must respond to this notice in order to be considered for this roundtable.
The criteria considered when selecting both in person and virtual attendees (in no particular order and not listed in order of importance)
- Socioeconomic status (we would like representation from each socioeconomic category (SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB, and SDVOSB)
- Products and/or services provided (we lean more towards firms that provide what we buy, but want a variety of industries represented)
- Experience with USSOCOM (we would like a mix of experienced and inexperienced firms)
- The last time your firm has attended a SB Roundtable (we want to afford all firms an opportunity to attend a roundtable)
- When your request to attend was received; and
- Where your firm is located (we would like a mix of local and non-local firms).
Responses are due by 8:00:00 AM local time on 9/2/2025. Invitations for those selected to attend will be sent out no later than close of business on 9/9/2025. You may still submit a response after the due date. However, late submissions will be accommodated on a space available basis.
If not selected for this event, your contact information will be added to the list of companies interested in attending future events.
