On behalf of Lt Gen Michael Guetlein, Commander, Space Systems Command (SSC), we’d like to invite you to SSC’s Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Industry Day, on Thurs 28 July 2022 in Colorado Springs, CO.
This unclassified event will foster an exchange of ideas and methods for executing SDA missions, with a focus on the end-to-end mission set to include acquisition of systems, data, and fusion capabilities, and operation of high-priority space missions specifically tailored to respond to urgent warfighter needs or emergent threats.
As the first in a series of SDA Industry Day events, the focus for the initial event will be on describing SDA as a mission area, the SDA commercial engagement strategy, and opportunities for engagement – both near term and long term.
Presentations are planned from around the SDA community, including but not limited to SSC Acquisition Deltas, US Space Command, SSC’s Front Door, SSC’s Commercial Services Office, the JTF-SD Commercial Operations Cell, the USSF 19 Space Defense Squadron, AFRL, and many others. There will be time in the agenda for informal discussion amongst the government and industry participants.
If you are interested in learning more about the Space Domain Awareness mission area, how the USSF is envisioning partnerships with commercial to achieve the mission, and what next steps might look like – this is an event that will help set the scene and provide plenty of information.
